Big thanks to NutSac for partnering with me on this video!
In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of http://www.iamalpham.com , http://www.AaronMarino.com , and http://www.peteandpedro.com is talking about the man bag. This video was in partnership with my favorite man bag company (NutSac).
The man bag is increasing essential accessory in the modern man's style arsenal. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro goes over why you need a man bag, what makes a man bag a 'man bag', and how to pick one.
Why You Need a Man Bag
Alpha talks about the man bags he owns, and how a man bag has saved his life in the past. The bag has been functional (and incredibly valuable) and now it's becoming fashionable, comfortable, and advantageous rather than using pockets.
Alpha discusses all of the crap that men carry around these days (not including computers): phones which are getting bigger, wallets, keys, headphones, phone chargers, shades, and gum / mints. With a man bag, your pockets are free from crap and you can carry stuff with style and class.
What Makes a Man Bag
Backpack - great for carrying heavy stuff. It's not a man bag!
Traditional and Modern Briefcases - the super structured formal option isn't that functional for carrying stuff other than paper and pens, and you don't see them that much anymore. If you have a computer, a modern briefcase is used. Both aren't man bags!
Messenger bags - not man bags either!
Man Bag Options
Where do you get a man bag? They are difficult to find- you can find messenger bags and computer bags but not a ton of man bag options!
Diesel Bags- overpriced for the quality. Some are funky but quality is crappy.
Nutsac Bags - the greatest name for a man bag! The bags are sassy, and Alpha gets tons of compliments on his bag.
Like stylish shoes, you need a variety of options for a variety of situations. You can't just have a computer bag. He covers stylish options for man bags: small to large and casual to dressy. Alpha has a multiple man bags for different situations and outfits. It's like a super cool accessory.
I also carry a man bag, have been for years. I am visually handicapped so have a lot of gadgets I have to carry so I can see things, plus I have to have special meds in case I get a migraine headache. So what do I carry, I carry a small 3 way deployment bag from Condor Tactical. it is semi military so it is well built, but it does not look military. Just my two cents worth.
Niggas need to stop judging each other, especially men, men should never ever judge another man based off their physical appearance like if u ain’t paying for my shit keep your mouth shut, cause i certainly don’t care what other people are wearing cases closed
fun fact: man-bags have been a thing in the Philippines since as early as 2005. At the time it felt a little weird but the "messenger bag" was trendy among white collar guys. Japan might have been doing it earlier as indicated by the popularity of high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton selling options for men. however in Manila, it often was either a carrier of a guy's PDA or primitive smartphone, a few toiletries, and a planner. Pretty minimalist.
I have used a small bag for years.
Gotta have one, I also keep the bag loaded and by my bed—Incase I need to grab my main essentials and bounce.
But I like mine with no strap(small handle), all black, and no style, mainly to keep away the interest of thieves.
Before the man bag fashion. I have NO choice to carry school bag, then backpack, then laptop bag. Fck hell. To put my wallet, smartphone, phone charger, Identity card, confidential doc. , water battle, car key, tissue, shopping list note, external hard drive. Got damn.. Thank to company make man bag save my daily life.

I usually carry my small (12 litre) tank bag with me when I'm travelling and stop at a town. It's awesome having something to carry your stuff in without filling your pockets, I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these.
People also mostly overlook the fact, that carrying your phone right at your body can cause serious health issues (even cancer) through radiation. So some bag for every situation is almost essential nowadays.
We called it a MURSE = Man+Purse... It’s pretty stylish, hip and popular in Asia and Europe since it come in many different sizes and colors... you don’t have to be metrosexual to use them... Americans should follow this trend since most Americans men using a lot backPacks.
Buy a black tactical and fancy leather thigh pack instead of the "man purse". You want two so you can swap them out between outfits. Some are small or large. I prefer it cause it's better than carrying a purse over the shoulder. You can store things like pepper spray, a small firearm, gum, knives, cigars, ect. Good for hunting and cycling since its just two straps that go around the right or left upper thigh and looks absolutely bad ass. Nobody will mistake it for a terrible looking fanny pack and you can find them on Amazon for like $15 a piece. Look it up yourselves. I can sprint with them on and my hardcore gun buddies all bought them as well since its practical and lools tough. The ladies notice it and they like the manly look of it. Just make sure you get one that's not too edgy (has skulls or looks like metal steampunk bs). I prefer simple leathers in brown and black. Once you star wearing them you'll never know how you survived so long without them. Just please never wear them with suits xD and make sure it has two thigh straps and doesn't wear itself like a belt. ALSO don't carry man bags. You'll thank me later fellas.
I own a few Gucci pieces myself and its definitely not cheap. A bag for edc that you have to haul around over the shoulder seems like a good idea if you live in Europe. Over here in the West it honestly looks stupid because its out of place. People clown on you for it and I've never seen another man outside of college walk around with one on a normal day. I've been to most major city's here in the United States like NYC, Washington, Chicago, and cities in Texas. Ive yet to see a man walk around with one. I don't hate them but it looks ridiculous if you don't live in Paris, France. You do you though.
(These thigh holsters will last you a lifetime if you take care of them. Its also a lot less douchey to walk around with. A GUCCI bag looks strange and costs over $500) that being said I own Gucci and Tom Ford suits. You're kind of painting a target on yourself with a leather bag that says GUCCI on the sides of it whereas people tend to wanna fuck with you less when you have a hunting satchel strapped to your thigh. I carry 4 self defense tools in mine alone.
Great job Alpha,
Been carrying one for two years now and have never looked back. Built up a collection to match shoes and belts. I am of European origin and am used to calling them bags... I hear you on the meds. On the sartorial and accessories side, extra shoelaces and spare fountain pen ink cartridges are also a must. The biggest benefit, however, is the pristine condition in which carrying a bag leaves your clothes, as pockets are not weighed down and battered by stuff… If you get the hang of it and run with it, it’s a whole different world.
Keep up the good work...
you seem like a nice dude...but I would not describe you as an alpha male...and that's ok....I came here to find a review about a manbag......I agree that every dude needs a manbag! Ah....wait..I need to redefine the concept of an "alpha male"..thanks for that; keep up the great work
An analysis of representative literature concerning the widely recognized ineffective learning of "place-value" by American children arguably also demonstrates a widespread lack of understanding of the concept of place-value among elementary school arithmetic teachers and among researchers themselves. Just being able to use place-value to write numbers and perform calculations, and to describe the process is not sufficient understanding to be able to teach it to children in the most complete and efficient manner.
A conceptual analysis and explication of the concept of "place-value" points to a more effective method of teaching it. However, effectively teaching "place-value" (or any conceptual or logical subject) requires more than the mechanical application of a different method, different content, or the introduction of a different kind of "manipulative". First, it is necessary to distinguish among mathematical 1) conventions, 2) algorithmic manipulations, and 3) logical/conceptual relationships, and then it is necessary to understand each of these requires different methods for effective teaching. And it is necessary to understand those different methods. Place-value involves all three mathematical elements.
Practice versus Understanding.
Almost everyone who has had difficulty with introductory algebra has had an algebra teacher say to them "Just work more problems, and it will become clear to you. You are just not working enough problems." And, of course, when you cant work any problems, it is difficult to work many of them. Meeting the complaint "I cant do any of these" with the response "Then do them all" seems absurd, when it is a matter of conceptual understanding. It is not absurd when it is simply a matter of practicing something one can do correctly, but just not as adroitly, smoothly, quickly, or automatically as more practice would allow. Hence, athletes practice various skills to make them become more automatic and reflexive; students practice reciting a poem until they can do it smoothly; and musicians practice a piece until they can play it with little effort or error. And practicing something one cannot do very well is not absurd where practice will allow for self-correction. Hence, a tennis player may be able to work out a faulty stroke himself by analyzing his own form to find flawed technique or by trying different things until he arrives at something that seems right, which he then practices. But practicing something that one cannot even begin to do or understand, and that trial and error does not improve, is not going to lead to perfection or --as in the case of certain conceptual aspects of algebra-- any understanding at all.
